This includes the development of superclusters that could rival Manhattan in size. The first of these superclusters, named Prometheus, is set to be operational by 2026.
Additionally, a second cluster called Hyperion is in the works, aimed at achieving an extraordinary 5 gigawatts of computing power in the coming years. Zuckerberg emphasized his commitment to building multiple massive clusters in a recent Facebook update. The need for these AI superclusters stems from the growing demand for compute power in developing advanced AI technologies.

The company has already invested $14.3 billion in Scale AI and has attracted top talent from major tech companies to drive its AI initiatives. Zuckerberg is keen on assembling a highly skilled team of researchers and engineers, offering competitive compensation packages to attract the best talent in the field.
